About the event
$50/person or $80/couple (limit of 25 people) - Join us for a casual evening around the fire, with some cold drinks, where we will discuss many aspects of small scale and large scale farming. We will answer all your questions, many of which you didn’t even know you had. We intend this to be an adult only evening, come with your spouse or friends or come alone. The subject of learning about food is expansive and we honestly don’t expect to be able to cover it all in one night. There isn’t a formal curriculum, we will let the questions set our course for the evening and we anticipate doing more of these events throughout the summer. This evening we will try to stay on the topic of beef, primarily, but we will answer what questions come. Additionally, we will try to do a side by side comparison of grocery store beef and ours and discuss the differences. We don’t pretend to have all the answers, but we are willing to transparently share our experience and numbers. We will talk about nose to tail eating and how societal eating habits have changed. The topic is huge, but read the attached poster for some further ideas of the discussion.
